Enable PING in Windows 2008 R2

In MS Windows 2008R2 ping command dose not working unless you configure the inbound rule in Windows Firewall.

Steps

1. “Start” –> “Administrative Tools” –> “Windows Firewall with Advanced Security”
2. “Inbound Rules”-> “New Rule”

5. Select “Allow the connection” –> [Finish].
